i have an incurable autoimmune disease and as of 3 months ago came out of remission.  i had to quit my job and move out of my apt.  currently i am waiting on hearing about my claim for disability, but bills are piling up.  my friends want to run a marathon in my honor, but not sure about the legalities involved with sponsoring an individual's charity needs as opposed to an nationwide organization.  is this even possible?  can anyone offer advice?  asap?  thanks--
